Coronovirus: Additional Precautions
Your health and well-being are our top priority. We know you may have concerns, so we want to reassure you that we continue to take the utmost care in regard to hygiene in our store, kitchen and with our team members.
Team member health: We can't be there for you if our team is not healthy! As is typical all team members experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms must stay home until their symptoms have subsided.
Sanitation and cleanliness: We continue to hold our cleanliness and disinfecting of our facilities to the highest possible standard. Wiping down all surfaces, fridges, and machinery to sanitize and remove germs and residue.
Hand-washing, Glove, and Mask Policy: Frequent and thorough hand-washing is always enforced and expected of our team members. We have and continue to reinforce proper hand-washing techniques for all of our team members. Hand-sanitizing is used as a secondary source of sanitation. Our team members utilize the use of disposable single-use gloves when working with and around food. All employees must wash hands and replace their gloves when they are soiled, move away from the station, or if they touch anything other than food or a food contact surface. All of our staff are required to wear masks while at work.
Food Sourcing and Handling: There are always rigorous practices in place in our kitchen to prevent the potential spread of germs. Our kitchen team pays special attention to washing ingredients, using personal protective equipment when handling food to prevent contamination, and ensuring strict adherence to all rules and policies.
Eating a diet full of fresh, organic, nutrient-rich plant foods is one of the most effective ways to support a healthy immune system that can fight off infection. To further protect your health, remember to wash your hands frequently, try not to touch your face excessively, wear a mask, and limit your exposure to people that are showing obvious symptoms of illness.
