About Our Cleanses

Why do a cleanse

Every day, we are exposed to toxins, which stress your liver, the body’s main detoxifying organ. A cleanse can help the liver do it’s job better by reducing the toxic load in your body. Symptoms like fatigue, difficulty concentrating, trouble losing weight, painful muscles or joints, headaches, among others, may be a sign of toxin overload. This may mean that you will benefit from a detox program.

Not your typical cleanse

All Organic Pharmer cleanses follow the standards of Functional Medicine. Our cleanses have been created by our Chefs, Lee and Darleen Gross, under the guidance of Dr. Susan Blum, a leader in Functional Medicine.

Each drink is clean

This means low in sugar, no added chemicals or dyes and all ingredients certified organic or locally sourced organic.

Each drink has a purpose

All of the nutrients in each drink will help the body work better. Dr. Blum and Darleen Gross started with an herbal infusion to maximize its purpose and increase the effectiveness of the cleanse. Each cleanse has all the nutrients your liver needs to clear toxins out of your body. This means that they contain enough fat and protein (an area where many other cleanses fall short) in addition to potent antioxidants, vitamins and minerals naturally present in vegetables and fruits.

Liver-supporting detox cleanses

We have created two types of liver-supporting detox cleanses. Choose one day or multi-day packages. They include our botanically infused beverages, protein shakes and almond milks.

Organic Pharmer Cleanse Instructions

Try to follow the order of juices that we've outlined. This sequence helps keep your blood-sugar even throughout the day.

Here is what you will be drinking everyday:

Breakfast Drink
Mid-Morning Protein Shake
Lunch Drink
Mid-Afternoon Protein Shake
Dinner Drink
Evening Infused Almond or Coconut Golden Milk

Just a few things to keep in mind

We also suggest you skip caffeine. However, if caffeine is your morning must-have, try switching to weak black or green tea.

Removing toxins is hard work for your body, so mild to moderate exercise - like walking, gentle yoga or a short, relaxed jog - is okay, but don't over do it.

Drink an additional 12-24 ounces of water to keep yourself hydrated and flush out those toxins.

Be sure to get plenty of sleep - at least 8 hours a night - to give your body enough rest while it is doing this extra metabolic work. You will probably see that you will sleep longer and more deeply.
